Winifred and Leslie are settlers on Treaty 13 Land, the traditional territories of many Indigenous Nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples, and home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples from across Turtle Island. A portion of proceeds from all our offerings are sent to The National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
Winifred Hunsburger (she, her) Ed.D. ATC is an educator with over 35 years of experience teaching young people and adults. She is a Courage & Renewal Facilitator with the Center for Courage & Renewal, an Adler Trained Coach (ATC) and an International Facilitator with NSRF/Harmony Education. She has additional training in facilitation from Anima Leadership and has completed the Anima Inclusive Leadership Certificate. She completed a Doctorate in Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
Leslie Chandler (she, her) is an adult educator with over 35 years’ experience working with expectant families, midwives, midwifery and nursing students, and other educators. Currently she is a Patient Education Specialist at an academic health sciences centre. She holds certificates in Applied Mindfulness Meditation from the University of Toronto, and Mindfulness Based Group Practice with Sunnybrook Psychiatry Institute for Continuing Education, and integrates mindfulness practices into her teaching and daily life. She is currently a Facilitator in preparation at the Center for Courage and Renewal.
